Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in computer sciences or a closely related field and two (2) years experience in the installation and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software, OR four (4) years of experience in the installation and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software OR a Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences or a closely related field.

• A+ or another computer technician-specific certification
• Security+ or another security-specific certification
• Experience with domain migrations, including endpoint configuration and user profile transitions
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows endpoints in an enterprise environment.
• Some familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, batch, python, etc.) for automation and efficiency.
• Experience deploying and managing enterprise endpoint security solutions.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for user support and technical reporting.

Skill in:
Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware and software; monitoring and assigning work to staff; using and instructing others in the use of computer hardware and software; performing preventive maintenance on computers and peripherals; conducting inventory of computers and peripherals; maintaining clear and accurate records of work performed; preparing clear and concise user documentation, instructions, etc.; using initiative and independent judgement within established procedural guidelines; communicating with a wide variety of people from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds; establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all personnel contacted in the course of duties; efficient, effective and safe use of equipment.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment, stamina to remain seated and maintain concentration for extended periods of time, vision to read printed materials and a VDT screen and hearing and speech to communicate effectively in person and over the telephone. Strength and agility to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
