Job Summary |
The primary work location will be in Lexington, KY.
The APP functioning within the cardiology ambulatory setting works in collaboration with, and is an integral member of, a multidisciplinary health care team. The APP functions primarily in the clinic managing the cardiovascular needs of the identified population and may also work closely with the outpatient cardiology testing groups like ECHO and heart station. The APP is generally on a service aligned team and manages the care of the outpatient with the team. In some instances the APP may have responsibilities for this same patient population in the consultative inpatient setting or serves a resource for the inpatient care team. The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice and education. |
