Physical Requirements |
The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 25lbs.

Shift |
Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hrs/wk); other hours/schedule as needed.

Job Summary |
This position is located off-campus in Lexington, KY at UKHC Turfland.
This position is responsible for coordinating patient services, which includes, but is not limited to, gathering medical records, scanning, making referrals to other healthcare facilities, coordinating and scheduling multiple appointments, and answering phone calls. The person in this position must be adept at working within a multidisciplinary team and have strong interpersonal communication skills. Medical terminology knowledge/experience is preferred, as is customer service experience in healthcare. |
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities |
The ideal candidate will have customer service experience and be able to communicate in a calm and helpful manner during stressful and/or crisis situations. Should have the ability to pay high attention to detail; work with a teamwork mindset; have data entry skills and respect for confidentiality; be able to prioritize tasks efficiently; and work in multiple systems simultaneously.

Preferred Education/Experience |
Previous experience in customer service, medical office, or care coordination.
