Certified Social Worker (CSW)

Sitting at computer workstation for extended periods. Repetitive motion. On occasion, may lift objects up to 50 lbs.

Day shift. Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Other days and hours as needed.

The Department of Psychiatry seeks a CSW to serve as a member of a mental health team to provide mental health services to patients and families under the supervision of a LCSW. This position’s duties include, but are not limited to individual and group therapy, serving as a liaison to community partners and group, educating patients and families on diagnosis, performing psychosocial assessments, completing appropriate documentation, educating patients and families on diagnosis, and providing individual and group therapy for individuals and families based on the identified needs. This individual will be eligible to receive supervision towards a LCSW license while expanding the mental health services available to the patients of the Department of Psychiatry.

Assessment and Intervention skills, Problem Solving, Advanced Technical Writing, Clinical skills, Program Evaluation and Interpretation of Data skills, Public Speaking skills, Electronic Health Record.
