Job Summary |
The Kentucky Regional Extension Center (Kentucky REC) is currently seeking a Technical Project Specialist I to be responsible for implementing process improvement; project planning and implementation; customer service; professional and staff development, and progress reporting for practices. The Technical Project Specialist will work with multiple stakeholders across the state on Quality Improvement projects; gathering and capturing provider data; developing remediation plans; educating and assisting providers on federal regulations; and tracking progress for project purposes. In addition, the Technical Project Specialist I will facilitate HIT and non-HIT projects such as Quality Improvement, Promoting Interoperability and HIPAA Privacy and Security and other initiatives as required. The Kentucky REC serves as a trusted advisor to health care organizations, clinicians and leaders across the state, helping them to manage the complex and changing world of health care.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities |
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, and communication skills; and the ability to cooperate with fellow team members and co-workers.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in healthcare quality improvement.
